An Open Letter to the people of Cotati
Thank you Cotati for electing me to the City Council last Tuesday. Many people, from family and friends, to people I had never met, came together to make it happen. I'm truly honored that the residents of our city have put their faith in me. This experience has reinforced for me that great things can happen when we put our talents and resources together for a common goal.
As I walked door to door, I met many citizens who shared their concerns and hopes for Cotati with me. I want to thank you for taking time from your busy day and assure you the time we spent together will undoubtedly make me a better Councilmember.
These have been difficult times and we have many challenges ahead. Every city, big and small, is struggling with shrinking budgets and diminishing resources. I know there aren't any easy answers and I'm ready to tackle the challenges head on. I want you to know this is not a responsibility I take lightly. My door is always open to you. I look forward to being your City Councilmember and working together to ensure that Cotati is strong, healthy and whole.
